Don Carberry is an active leader in Freemasonry and the Shrine. He has served as President of the Melha Shriners Directors Staff in 2020 and 2025 and has been the Membership Chairman for Melha Shriners since 2018.

In the York Rite, Don is the High Priest of Morning Star Chapter Royal Arch, Illustrious Master of Springfield Royal and Select Masters, and Sovereign Prince of Massasoit Council Princes of Jerusalem Valley of Springfield. He also serves as the Membership Chairman for the Valley of Springfield Scottish Rite, Springfield York Rite Bodies, and as Co-Membership Chairman for the Knights Templar of Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Don is a Blue Lodge District Membership Ambassador for Massachusetts’ 26th and 29th Districts. He is the Senior Warden of Mt. Orthodox and Hampshire Lodges and a two-time Past Master of Mt. Orthodox Lodge in Westfield, Massachusetts.

He is also a dedicated supporter of DeMolay, serving as a Dad Advisor for TeKoa Chapter and a member of the DeMolay Membership Committee. He has been recognized as a member of the DeMolay International Legion of Honor.

Additionally, Don is the Vice President of the Masonic Hospital Equipment Loan Program (HELP) in Western Massachusetts, further demonstrating his commitment to Masonic service and community support.
