R∴ W∴ R. J. “Jody” Meguiar, of Tampa, Florida, is a perpetual member of Hillsborough Lodge No. 25, F & AM and a lifelong supporter of DeMolay International. Having first been introduced to the Masonic fraternity with his initiation into Paul Revere DeMolay Chapter in 1991, he joined the Masonic Lodge upon attaining lawful age and was raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason on December 7, 1999.

He is a 3rd generation Mason; his dad, Jerome “Jerry” Meguiar, is a Senior DeMolay and Master Mason, and Jerry’s stepdad, Karl Ruth, was also a Master Mason. His mom’s stepdad, Granville F. “Pat” Reeves, was also a Master Mason.

R∴ W∴ Meguiar is married to Mrs. Kimberly Meguiar, former Miss Florida Job’s Daughter (2001-02). Together they have two sons, Christian & Evan. Both boys have impressive DeMolay careers of their own, both have served Paul Revere Chapter as its Master Councilor and have been bestowed the Degree of Chevalier – the highest honor for DeMolay service. W∴ Meguiar raised his son Christian to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason on July 27, 2024, introducing a fourth familial generation to membership at Hillsborough Lodge.

Excerpting from his Masonic resume, R∴ W∴ Meguiar is a member of the Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite (Valley of Tampa), Egypt Shriners, the Tampa York Rite bodies, Selama Grotto M.O.V.P.E.R., Mystic Chapter No. 110 OES, St. Sebastian Conclave of the Red Cross of Constantine and the Maxwell Clan of the Royal Order of Scotland, among other allied and concordant bodies.

He has been elevated to the distinction of 32o, Knight Commander of the Court of Honor (KCCH) in the Scottish Rite, Southern Jurisdiction and in 2024 was presented the Imperial Potentate’s Award of Merit by Imperial Sir James “Ed” Stolze.

Professionally, R∴ W∴ Meguiar works in the Fraternal Information Services department at Shriners International Headquarters in Tampa – following a 8+ year tenure in its membership department. He considers himself extremely blessed to be able to bring his fraternal passion to the workplace. In developing fraternal programs and avenues to support the local Shrine temples, he is able to utilize his Degrees received from institutions of higher education: a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Organizational Management.

R∴ W∴ Meguiar is a Past Master of his Lodge, serves the DeMolay International Jurisdiction of Florida as its Executive Officer (since 2015), represents the Grand Master of DeMolay International in Puerto Rico (since 2023), serves as the President of the Florida State DeMolay Association, Inc. (since 2015), chaired the Grand Lodge of Florida’s Masonic Youth Activities Committee (2017 to 2025) and the Florida Educational Foundation, Inc. (2020 to 2025). He serves the Conference of Grand Masters of North America as a core member of its Masonic Renewal Committee (since 2020) and was appointed to serve the 19th Masonic District for the Grand Lodge of Florida as its R∴ W∴ District Deputy Grand Master in 2026.

In a fraternal sense, R∴ W∴ Meguiar considers himself extremely fortunate to have been personally mentored by some of “the greats,” including Imperial Sir Jack Jones and M∴ W∴ Richard Lynn. These men, along with his own father, are on his list of personal heroes.
